State of Science of Environmental Applications of Imaging Spectroscopy

State of Science of Environmental Applications of Imaging Spectroscopy (in honor of Dr. Alexander F.H. Goetz).

Susan Ustin (UC Davis, USA) and Michael Schaepman (Wageningen UR, NL) have organized at one of the largest remote sensing conferences (IEEE IGARSS - http://www.igarss06.com/
) a special session on the state of science of environmental applications of imaging spectroscopy in honor of Dr. Alexander F.H. Goetz.

20 invited keynote speakers from all over the world presented the last findings in imaging spectroscopy. Standing ovations from the audience for the contribution of Dr. Alexander F.H. Goetz were closing a conference day.
