Abstract
In this thesis project a client-server solution for a location-based 3D visualization application that offers 3D scenes information based on the position and orientation, is worked out. By capturing the position and orientation from GPS data, 3D models can be downloaded from server side. Selected part of the 3D scences are presented on the client mobile devices. Object information can be provided under the requirement of the users by accessing the server from the client side.
