On September 30, 2009, Harm Bartholomeus will defend his thesis in the Aula of Wageningen University at 13:30 hrs. Harm wrote his thesis on the subject of 'The Influence of Vegetation on the Spectroscopic Estimation of Soil Properties'.

The defense will see the participation of international reknown specialists in the subject, namely Prof. Dr. L. Brussaard (Wageningen University, NL), Prof. Dr. rer. nat. J. Hill (Universitat Trier, Germany), Prof. Dr. S. de Jong (Utrecht University, NL) and Prof. Dr. R. Viscarra Rossel (CSIRO Canberra, Australia).

Participation is open to any interested party.
