College and university faculty and students who use ArcGIS are invited to submit their analytic modeling projects to the Best Practices in Science Modeling Challenge 2007. ESRI's ArcGIS provides a modeling framework for the creation, documentation, and sharing of custom GIS analysis tools. The purpose of this challenge is to recognize, reward, and share the great work being done by students and educators using the ArcGIS modeling framework and to build analytic modeling tools to meet the needs of the scientific community.

The winners of the challenge will receive cash awards from ESRI totaling $4,000 for winning entries based on innovation, functionality, and usability as well as adherence to the entry guidelines for submittal.

Entries will be accepted until April 16, 2007. More information will be posted soon at www.esri.com/sciencemodeling.
